This is a dramatic reading of a real blog post, by a real person. Just remembered, out of nowhere, how much I used to enjoy doing Dramatic Readings in high school. Whenever we were asked to read aloud in class from a textbook or an assigned English text: I loved doing it. I especially loved when we did a play in English and different people read out the different parts in class.

I started off just enjoying putting some life and fluency into the readings rather than the droning or hesitant voices other people used. But I started to ham it up once I realised that my classmates found it funny. I liked wielding a satirical power that was completely deniable as earnestness. What a pain I must have been to my poor teachers.

It was our school's habit to have year 12 students read out Bible verses in assembly; there was a roster in the year 12 classrooms and everyone was meant to have a turn. Obviously I volunteered for more than my share of turns and read these verses with great feeling.

Anyway, I host a podcast now lol
